Leverage

I founded Leverage in 2013 to fill the need for additional marketing and sales freelance support in higher ed publishing. I've been in sales and marketing since 2000. I got my first publishing job in 2006. I started out as a humanities rep in West Texas, then became a generalist. My greatest achievement came in 2009 when I was named McGraw-Hill Rep... of the Year in Humanities, Social Sciences, and World Languages for highest growth in dollars and percentage over goal. After such a huge year, it's no small feat that the next year I followed up with the second highest territory growth in 2010 and nearly claimed the title 2 years in a row. I am passionate about being successful. It has driven my achievements throughout my career. And, when I became a mom, it pushed me to go on hiatus from my full-time career to be the best at the new job I had taken on in my family. That's when I opened Leverage. As my business grows, I am thrilled to be able to better support my customers by expanding my capacity for projects. And, I am just as thrilled to be able to bring together colleagues who are eager to contribute years of valuable industry experience and training on a flexible schedule with colleagues who have more work on their desk than any human can accomplish alone.
