The business activity of LESY SR, a state enterprise, involves the administration of forest and other property owned by the Slovak Republic. The entire area of forest stands is certified under PEFC and partially FSC schemes. The enterprise manages nearly 880,000 hectares of forest land across Slovakia. It is a significant player in the timber market, with timber supplies representing approximately 50% of the total volume managed by all forest managers in the Slovak Republic.
