LENS grew out of a desire to use innovation to make positive changes in the world. Entrepreneurship remains at the heart of our business which ranges from innovating for the leading companies in the world to major non-profits and the US Government. They change the status quo using not just their brains but a sense of humor, pragmatic optimist's outlook, and sheer determination. They fail hourly, and succeed in every minute. Our values reflect those of a business started by an entrepreneur and innovator who teamed up with other leaders and entrepreneurs who see the world differently. The approach we take towards innovation demonstrates a bias to find the smartest, simplest solution to even the most complex problem. We bring the small to the large, the outside to the inside and the orthogonal to the usual line. Our innovations are not just fashion, making things look better; but, if it helps the person using it, great design is always welcome. Our inventions are not about driving the competition out of business, though sometimes that happens if the competition is not looking. They are about creating things that better serve the needs of people and the planet. Do they make people's lives better? Do they make the world better?
