The location however, has been around since 1936. Some of our favorite customers still refer to our store as Binder's Market, using the name of the previous owner. We are also known as "the old Tom-Boy store" because of our classic sign, reflecting the rich history of small grocery store chains. LeGrand's is actually one of the last stores in the c... ountry to still display the Tom-Boy sign, and we do so with great pride. We have stayed faithful to our roots, as well as adding a new aspect to the market-our quality catering department. We specialize in parties of all kinds: weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, graduations; you name it, LeGrand's has catered it all! We still have the same small business value, providing the freshest in-store product to the customer. We value freshness and quality, keeping great focus on our meat department. That includes our large stock of Boar's Head Brand deli meats, a fully prepared specialty section and fresh cut steaks, cut daily to your specifications. We carry fresh produce, dairy and groceries too. Yet it's our sandwiches which have helped us become a St. Louis Hills institution. Voted "Best Delicatessen" by The River Front Times, this only adds to the numerous awards won by LeGrand's Market. The RFT also awarded us as "Favorite Butcher" and "Favorite Meat Shop"; and recently, Sauce Magazine recognized us for the best homemade bratwurst and deli.
