Leg Up Stables is a family oriented relaxed yet competitive equestrian facility located in Henry County easily accessible to Martinsville, Collinsville, Danville, Chatham, Eden and Reidsville areas.We offer the finest care for your horse and a variety of option for their riders. The facilities have been carefully laid out to provide maximum safety and utility. We stress good horsemanship and sportsmanship. A wide variety of horses and style of riders are here which makes for a nice balance.Visitors are always welcome during business hours. Our farm is nestled on 73 acres in Southwestern Virginia between Martinsville and Danville.We have a large 14 stall barn with a heated wash stall including hot and cold water,smaller 4 stall barn large outdoor ring 150 X 200, 70 X 200 outdoor Dressage arena, indoor covered arena 70 X 120 with viewing room and a secure tack room.We have access to 200 acres of trails along with our own perimeter trail with optional jumps.Lights in all rings for all weather riding. We specialize in instilling strong foundations for beginner through advanced riders from ages 8 to 70. Introducing all to the fundamentals of English riding disciplines, general horse care and behavior. Our advance students fine tuned and assisted in acquiring their goals in and out of the show ring.
