Lee Auto Parts, Inc. was founded in September 1976, by the father and son team of Mike and Phill Porpora. The first store occupied 3900 square feet in a shopping center in Des Plaines, IL. As the company continued to expand, the owners were able to begin buying direct from the manufacturers and built a 40,000 square foot facility to house our flagship Lee Auto Parts Headquarters in Des Plaines. Fast-forward to current day and you will find 21 Lee Auto Parts stores and 3 affiliated warehouses throughout the Chicagoland area. We employ over 300 team members and maintain a mutli-million dollar inventory.
