The Le Mac Australia Group was established in 1984 and began with a focus on providing tamper evident packaging using imported shrink sleeves from Fuji Seal Japan. Evolving over the years, the company is now positioned to offer a wide range of packaging and labelling solutions covering container decoration, tamper evidence and multi-packing. A key... element in our philosophy is a total systems approach, consisting of both automatic application equipment and the printed consumables. In 1997 the company embarked on a major expansion program with the acquisition of a manufacturing site at Mulgrave in Sydney's north-west. Le Mac was also divisionalised at this point into four distinct functions: - printing and conversion - promotional packaging services - container decoration services - machinery systems sales and support More recently, in 2008 we introduced the first linerless self-adhesive labels into the Australian market. Then in 2010 we invested in Australia's first Dotrix inkjet press - the world's fastest and widest digital press for flexible printing. The facility at Mulgrave manufactures shrink sleeves, linerless self-adhesive labels (LSL), tamper evident seals, roll-fed filmic labels, stretch sleeves and heat transfer labels (HTL) as well as housing our promotional packing and container decoration services. Our sales and customer service presence in New South Wales is supported by sales offices in Victoria, Queensland and South Australia. These offices enable us to service every state and territory in Australia, as well as New Zealand. The Le Mac team is proud of what we have achieved since commencing local manufacture well over a decade ago, winning many awards along the way. From a technical viewpoint, we have obtained excellent results in printing on a wide range of flexible substrates, with a focus on high quality flexographic work.
