I'm ACF Certified Chef Martin Gilligan, and I envisioned "Create" for people who desire to resurrect the joy and fundamentals of culinary expression in an environment that is fu... n and easygoing. My true passion for cooking, I have found is best expressed in sharing my 25 years of experience as a 5 star hotel chef with Four Seasons, The Plaza (NYC), and Starwood. My goal each day is to help someone discover or re-discover a love for food preparation and presentation. I realize that people have a lot of options in the world of cooking classes. I have set out to show them all how it's done. We offer small classes of a maximum of 12 people with the exception of our French Macaron classes (up to 14 people). Every student gets involved with every recipe. Recipe packets are clearly written with step by step methods and offered digitally. Techniques are demonstrated by me in an entertaining and memorable manor in a state of the art kitchen design studio with individual work stations. So grab a friend, bring a bottle of wine, and come take part in an adventure through the kitchen that will teach you culinary skills and techniques from the best of the best, as well as re-ignite your passion to explore, laugh, and savor. It was at that time, I found my calling on this planet. With tenure at Le Cordon Bleu, Art Institute, and The Culinary Arts Institute, over the past 10 years, I have formed an ability to transmit tried and true culinary methods and techniques from my brain to yours in a fun memorable way.
