Lawton Church of the Nazarene is the result of a merger between Lawton First and Lawton Heights Nazarene in the summer of 2019. In 1987, Pastor David was born in Garnett, Kansas. He has been married to his wife Amy since May of 2008. They have two children: Zachary and Noah. David graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Youth and Family Ministry from MidAmerica Nazarene University in May, 2010. Pastor David has served at Lawton Naz since 2018. Pastor David also served as the Pastor at Mount Vernon Nazarene Church for 6 years, and Joplin District Nazarene Youth International Council Secretary for 6 years. He has also previously served at the Global Ministries Center of the Church of the Nazarene in the Nazarene Youth International office. Samantha has been serving as the secretary at Lawton First since 2017. She is an integral part of our ministry team. Samantha also leads our Kids Bible Quizzing program. Samantha also helps assist in our Children's Ministry, and is very involved in all facets of ministry here at Lawton First. She is married to Scott, a solider serving in the Army Band. They have two kids, Nathan and Abby.Read More
