Dobbins has been practicing law since 2002, the same year she graduated from UNC Chapel Hill School of Law. Prior to law school, she was in the nursing profession for 20 years, during which time she worked as a nurse in intensive care for several years. She then became a nurse anesthetist and worked as a clinical instructor and for 3 years as an assistant director of the Nurse Anesthesia Program at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. She brings to the law profession the same caring and efficient qualities required of a nurse. She strives to intertwine the qualities of both professions to create the law firm she started in 2002 with the focus on the client and his or her legal needs at the moment.
