Laurel Consulting Group (LCG) was created in 1994 out of the realization that I enjoyed working with multiple organizations in multiple roles. I have worked for software vendors creating and implementing business systems for clients. I have worked as a CIO, purchasing consulting services from software vendors. I understand and appreciate the challe... nges of the corporate world from both sides of the fence. LCG exists to help companies cut to the important issues quickly, resolve problems and capitalize on opportunities. We will prioritize issues with the goal of maximizing the positive impacts for your organization, and together craft a plan to address them. At the same time we use your existing resources where possible to minimize your costs and maximize your corporate knowledge retention. We work with all types and sizes of companies. Some use us for a short period to fill a gap or need, others use us as their 'go to' team for special projects. If you are wondering about the name 'Laurel', the company is named after Laurel Mountain in Pennsylvania, which is where my favorite trout streams were when I was attending the University of Pittsburgh. We are not a stuffy organization, there is little 'pomp and circumstance' as I like to say. We believe in hard, honest work and happy, satisfied clients.
