Launch prioritize the physical and emotional safety of the children in Launch's care. Launch supports working families from all social, economic, and cultural backgrounds. Families who enroll in Launch's program enter a network of assistance that strengthens the community, while offering positive opportunities for their children. Launch's twelve lo... cations have deep, committed relationships with school districts, including Seattle Public Schools. This collaboration with the school district allows Launch's staff to communicate and partner with teachers, ensuring what children learn in Launch's before and after-school programs complements and supports what theyre learning in the classroom, readying them for kindergarten. Launch administrative staff and teachers are passionate about preparing 21st Century learners for school and life in a fun, nurturing environment. Focusing on social, emotional, and academic learning and growth, were leading the charge to brilliant outcomes for the children in Launch's community. Launch invite families, donors, volunteers, and members of Launch's community to learn how you can get involved in helping Launch prepare children for the future! Launch's intention is to empower every child in Launch's care. In 2019-20, Launch served 1,125 children ages 3 to 12. Eight of the schools Launch serves are Title I schools and receive additional federal funding because they serve high numbers of low-income students.
