About LaserLux

Back in 1984, Canon introduced the first all-in-one toner cartridge for use in the Canon PC10, PC20 and PC25 copier line, as well as the HP LaserJet Series I and Apple Laserwriter printers. This revolutionary cartridge design contained a photoconductor drum, toner, wiper blade, developer roller, corona wire and other items that were previously separate components in larger copiers. In other words, every time you changed out a toner cartridge, it was like getting a new copier. Service calls or contracts were greatly reduced, since most of the high maintenance items were changed out with every cartridge replacement. The down side of this new cartridge design was the cost, with cartridges priced at $100 or more. The resultant customer demand for saving money paved the way for the first attempts at refilling these toner cartridges and a new market was born. LaserLux joined this new market in 1989, operating out of a small barn on the outskirts of Mercedes, TX. It wasnt long before refillinRead more

LaserLux joined this new market in 1989, operating out of a small barn on the outskirts of Mercedes, TX. It wasnt long before refilling turned into remanufacturing, as the need for quality began to generate a market for replacement parts and supplies to rebuild these cartridges. What was once a low tech junkyard business has now blossomed into a high tech service and quality oriented business. LaserLux is proud to be one of the oldest and most experienced toner cartridge remanufacturing companies operating in the USA today.Read More
