About Las Campanas Compadres
Las Campanas Compadres, Inc. (LCC) was founded by Lawrence and Suzanna Becerra in May, 2007. The original idea was to start a program devoted to assisting people with special needs eliciting the co-operation of The Club at Las Campanas by utilizing the clubs world class facilities. The program is made possible through The Club at Las Campanas generous offer of the use of their beautiful equestrian and swimming facilities, and the enthusiastic response from The Club at Las Campanas community to support the program through the donation of valuable volunteer time. We initiated our activities with a riding program. We hired Karen Evans, a PATH International rated instructor, organized a pool of volunteers, and developed adaptive horseback riding and expanded the program to include swimming activities run by Dave Caldwell.
