Langdon College

Langdon was founded in 1992 by four parents of children with learning difficulties who found there were no organisations that enabled young adults with similar needs to lead an independent life. The charity's founders had first-hand knowledge of the special challenges their children faced in leading the independent life that their peers took for gr... anted. They recognised that young adults with learning difficulties need extra help and support with everyday living and that, without it, their children - and others like them - would simply slip through the net. From those early beginnings, Langdon's services have steadily grown and we now help over 100 young Jewish people. Our goal is to ensure the young people we support have the same opportunities as their peers to experience the satisfaction that comes from a good day's work and the chance to enjoy a full social life.
