Hi! I'm Karen!! Im the lucky owner of lan Photographie Studio. It grew from a place of hobby and most organically turned into a business. It has allowed me endless love for so many new faces during the last 12 years, some incredible friendships, and the capturing of some of lifes most beautiful moments. II founded this business in Colorado in 2008... and as of 2015 I replanted in Colorado Springs. My photography career carried me to NYC for two years to be apart of the wedding industry in ways I could n't have imagined. The experts that I worked along side of and for in New York refined so much of what I thought I had mastered and taught me a dozen things I didnt know I needed. I love to carry that through in my work today. When I'm not taking photos, I'm likely welcoming people to our home to share food, stories and life. I thrive when Im surrounded by the ones I love- while hosting friends new and old, and in the midst of exploring and adventuring all of that I can around me. I travel all over the map to photograph clients. I want to meet you wherever you are both for the celebration and for the documentation.
