Lakeshore Senior Baseball

The Lakeshore Senior Baseball League (L.S.B.L.) is a 3 Division (sometimes 4 Division) league that firmly believes that every player who wants to play real baseball should have the opportunity to do so, at a competitive level according to ones playing ability. The L.S.B.L. has no age restrictions, with the exception that one must be 18 years of age... or older, in order to play in the league. The L.S.B.L. adopts a variety of rules designed specifically for its league. For example: every player must play in the game, every player must have his / her at bats, a variety of pitching rules are implemented in order to keep the games fair, a variety of mercy rules are used in order to keep the games moving and certain time constraints also apply at certain times. The Lakeshore Senior Baseball League encourages a team entry format into the league, but it will also accept players on an individual basis if space in the league permits it. The L.S.B.L. plays a twenty (20) game regular season, followed by league playoffs which include all teams.
