The three people who make up Lakeland Realty (Agent Ces Dawson, Listing Coordinator Anna Schwartz, and Broker Ryan Hanson) are not just co-workers. They are friends and family. Through the years Lakeland Realty has had many incarnations. The company was founded in 1992 by Tony "Land Man" Bogdanovich as a Century 21 office. In 2007, the business was... transformed to primarily meet the needs of the Northwoods vacant land market. That's when Tony, his wife Kathy and stepson, Ryan Hanson became Lakeland Land Company. Anna, Ryan's wife since 2005, joined the team in 2010 as Office Manager and Listing Coordinator. In 2010, Tony decided to bring his "Land Man" days to a close and sold the company to Ryan who changed the name to Lakeland Realty. Kathy stayed on for 4 more years, but eventually joined Tony in retirement leaving some special shoes to fill. Ces and Anna met in 2015 as castmates on the Nicolet Theater stage in Rhinelander. Ces was working at Lakeland Union High School at the time but always found herself drawn to real estate. After the play ended, Ryan and Anna played on a softball team with Ces and on a trivia team as well.
