At the time of its incorporation in 1997, Lainco was established in Blainville in a 1500 ft2 workshop, Lainco made its name rapidly by fabricating small steel structure and wrought-metal structures, relying on the company's expertise for complex reinforcement work of existing structures and for interventions in restraint areas. In the year 2000, th... e construction of a 9500 ft2 workshop in the industrial park of Terrebonne gave Lainco the opportunity to expand its expertise in Design and Build type projects. It allowed Lainco to stand out by establishing new records of fabrications thanks to the hard work of its experimented teams. In 2001, the addition of a overhead bridge crane covering 6500 ft2 contributed greatly to the company's expansion. This helped Lainco to win the "Young business enterprise of the year 2002'' prize awarded by the Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce. In 2005, the conversion of a zone into a shop, allowed Lainco to enhance its first production space, thus adding a paint shop and an area for small pieces preparation. As for the office space, its space was doubled to 4000 ft2. In 2007, at its 10th anniversary, Lainco celebrated with the inauguration of a new 4000 ft2 office enlargement which allowed the expansion of the detailing and the design departments. In 2011, the shop's surface area was doubled to allow enough space for brand new state-of-the-art technology equipment.
