La Scarpa, meaning "the shoe" in Italian, was chosen as the name for the boutique because of the beautiful, handmade, European shoe... s they import for the store. Over the years, La Scarpa Boutique has added fine women's clothing, jewlery, handbags, and other accessories to their offerings. Now run by the Pastore's daughter, Jeanine, La Scarpa has blossomed, and moved to a new, much larger space across the way from the store they had occupied for 31 years.
