La Rose Blanche

Established in 1000. One of the most beautiful and oldest buildings on the Grand Place of Brussels, La Rose Blanche offers traditional cuisine from the Belgian Terroir, all in an authentic and original setting. The chef honors the integration of Belgian beers in his preparations. We find in our specialties the Cod in the white of Bruges, the duck b... reast with Kriek. La Rose Blanche also offers classics of French cuisine. The must in summer is to sip a beer on the terrace. The history of the La Rose Blanche restaurant begins in the 15th century with the purchase of the building by the City of Brussels, it becomes the property of the "Van der Rosen" family in the 10th century. Burned in 1695, it was rebuilt in 1702 by J.B. 't Serstevens. It was restored in 1885. Of Flemish style of the 17th century, it has the 3 orders: Doric, Ionic and Corinthian, it is a bourgeois residence.
