We are a group of French expats who have made England our home, and have grown to love and treasure that great British institution - the pub. With a background in Michelin starred restaurants (both here and abroad) as well as over a decade in the management of pubs and restaurants in London and the home counties, we had a collective vision. We want... ed to create a traditional English pub that is at the heart of the local community; a warm and inviting place that serves great ales, wine and food and with strong local sporting and community links. To make it even more marvellous we've added a French restaurant serving rustic regional French cuisine. A true entente cordial. The Carpenters is a country pub and restaurant in the heart of the village of Sunninghill. It is only a stone's throw from Windsor Great Park and is the perfect venue after a day's walk in the Berkshire countryside. We have a large terraced garden to enjoy in the summer with a bottle of Provencal rosé while in winter we light the fires and serve comforting French casseroles and crumbles. We are open for lunch and dinner every day and we serve a traditional roast for lunch on Sundays.
