So this is the part where I tell you all of the reasons why should hire me to create your website / brochure / book / invitation / business cards / fill-in-the-blank. Ill get to those reasons but Ill start by telling you a litt... le bit about me. My name is Kyra Dosch-Klemer. Im a lover of all things creative. I love to make things, I love to think outside of the box, and I love visually telling a story. Im from New Jersey by way of New York, Ohio, and Montana, Pennsylvania, and now am back in New Jersey, but a bit of my heart still resides in Asheville, North Carolina, the city in the mountains that my now husband and I left in 2010 after giving birth to our daughter. I live with my amazing husband, David, who is a professor of art, our super awesome daughter, Indira, the best three-legged dog ever Shiva, and a feisty cat named Oliver. I started dabbling in design in 1998, shortly after graduating from Rutgers College with a degree in Art History. Dabbling turned to romance which then turned to a long-lasting relationship with design. There was no turning back. Ive worked as an in-house designer, a contract designer, a project manager, an art director, and a webmaster (think late 90s, early 00s). I have worked very closely with clients for the past several years and am proud to have forged some long-lasting professional relationships. I enjoy growing with a client, seeing their story bloom and evolve, and turning the ideas in their heads into their visual story. I design with purpose and with integrity. In my print work, I endeavor to bring texture and elegance to life on paper. I want to create a story that engages and that seeks to trigger emotion in the viewer. Website design is an animal different than print. I want my web designs to be long-lasting, but, as is the nature of the web, there needs to be a flexibility that can allow for gentle change and growth in the future. I build ...Read More
