KY Gives Day

Kentucky Gives Day is an innovative online fundraising event that provides a way for Kentuckians (and beyond) to support their favorite charities. Online giving is a very affordable way for charities to raise needed funds for their mission and tell their story. Who created this event? Kentucky Gives is a collaboration of the Kentucky Nonprofit Network, in partnership with participating nonprofits and corporate, foundation and media partners. The fifth annual Kentucky Gives event is being held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017. The event was launched in 2013 and has raised more than $1 million in partnership with over 400 nonprofit organizations across Kentucky. Kentucky Nonprofit Network is Kentuckys state association of nonprofits and was founded in 2002. Over 600 members strong, KNN exists to strengthen and advance Kentuckys nonprofit community by providing access to quality and affordable professional development and technical assistance resources. The Kentucky Gives Day initiative is a fundraising tool we provide for our members and is also an effort to increase the visibility of Kentuckys nonprofit sector.
