In November 2004, KwartaGram was appointed by MoneyGram Payment Systems Inc. as one of its three super-agents in the Philippines to offer the latter's money transfer services. In the same month, it opened its first MoneyGram flagship outlet or what is now referred to as a KwartaGram branch. MoneyGram is one of only two truly global money remittance... companies in the world. It has a worldwide network of nearly 310,000 locations in over 200 countries and territories. Its network is continually growing and as a result its market share, globally and in the Philippines, has been expanding.
