The Kunming International Philharmonic performs and promotes wide-ranging repertoire, both classical masterpieces and new compositions from emerging composers, western music and music from China and especially from Yunnan province in celebration of the region's cultural diversity. While the Kunming International Philharmonic sows the seeds of music... al and dance art in the Yunnan province, it is a platform for music from all the world that inspires the children and adults to enjoy, study and create music. We enrich the community through professional performances, art development and educational programs. Every effort is made to make the art accessible to a greater audience and to share knowledge and passion for the music and dance. The Kunming International Philharmonic is committed to providing arts education through its "The Kunming International Academy" educational programs. In February 2018 The Kunming College of the Arts and The Kunming international Philharmonic presented "The Kunming International Music festival and Workshop".
