Kugler Construction

As a company, Kugler Construction was born in 2003, but our roots begin many years earlier. In 1952, Oskar Kugler, a successful German architect, brought his family to America. His first job was at a steel mill because he could not speak English. There is something to be said about God given talents because it wasn't long before the German speaking... architect was discovered and began working in his profession in his new country. Oskar's namesake son, Oskar Hugo, was only 16 years old when he came with his family to the United States. He worked to help his family purchase their first car. After serving time in the Army, getting married and going to college, his career modeled his dad. His natural abilities in design and troubleshooting earned him much respect in the HVAC field. These two men were strong influences on Oskar's son Bill. Mechanical abilities, hard work and a sense of family pride were a part of every day life. This was modeled to Bill's sons Billy and Nick, and his daughter Jess. There was always a focus on "doing your best", good enough in fact to be able to "put your name on it". It seems like the Kuglers were always building something. No matter what the project was, the attention to detail was unending. Every board was checked for straightness and every measurement was accurate. Many projects included the entire family - Bill, Jackie, Billy, Nick, Jess, Papa Oskar & Nannie Audrey. When Bill and Billy made the transition to Kugler Construction it was a continuation of what both of them had been doing their entire lives.
