KRN Services was established in 1991 to supply the acoustic emission industry with top-quality sensors, preamplifiers, and miscellaneous supporting equipment. The principals of the company have extensive backgrounds in all aspects of the acoustic emission industry, including research, wave propagation studies, testing method development, equipment... and sensor design, ASTM committee membership, field testing, and manufacturing. Our goal is to provide the best possible quality equipment to support our customers needs. We offer a product line that includes resonant sensors available with or without integral preamplifiers , models available with impedance-matched pulse-through capability, broadband sensors, specialty sensors, and underwater sensors. Our models include a broadband sensor with nearly flat response from ~5kHz to nearly 2MHz and underwater sensors capable of long-term immersion in seawater to 10,000 feet that include wet-connection cables. Preamplifiers are available as integral with sensors, separate single channel, pulsable single channel, 4 channel and 12 channel, models available with or without internal power supplies.
