Kourtney Richard

Kourtney Richard is a producer and on-air personality from Beaumont, Texas currently residing in Los Angeles. After attaining her B.A. in Broadcast Journalism and Film from Texas State University, she relocated to Houston, Texas where she began her broadcasting career as a radio personality on 97.9's The Box. Kourtney hosted "Late Night with Koko"... which became the #1 overnight radio program in Houston. With Kourtney's vibrant personality and genuine connection with her listeners, she gained a large following almost immediately and began branding herself further by hosting various special events and concerts around the city. In 2008, Kourtney relocated to New York to transition her career into television production. She started out as a production coordinator for BET and MTV where she worked on shows such as "Truth with Jeff Johnson" and "BET News: 2008 Presidential Coverage. She then explored being on-air talent for the network. In 2009, Kourtney hosted BET's #1 summer music video show called "The Heat. The show aired LIVE every weekday during the summer of 2009 at 9am. Along with her co-host, she introduced music videos and provided fun facts and general world news throughout the show. After working under a TV network for 3 years she started producing her own content for popular blogs. Kourtney became the first correspondent to work for theYBF.com. She quickly made a name for herself by producing and starring in her on videos. She has snagged exclusive interviews with numerous of A-list celebrities including Queen Latifah, Tyler Perry, Khloe Kardashian, Kevin Hart, Nick Young (Lakers) and Trey Songz just to name a few! She has also hosted various entertainment segments including 2012 Essence Music Festival, 2009 MTV Music Video Awards, 2009 VH1 Hip Hop Honors, and Global Grind's coverage of Mercedes Benz's Fashion Week 2009.
