KORNBERG ASSOCIATES was founded in 1979, establishing our first office in San Diego, California. Over the past three decades we have completed more than 600 projects for public and private research institutions, universities and corporations worldwide. In 1986 Kornberg Associates opened a second office in the Silicon Valley to provide additional se... rvice to our clients in the burgeoning Bay Area high-tech community. Our international design work began in 1989 when we were selected to design a new research facility in Strasbourg, France for Université Louis Pasteur. Since that initial project in France we have completed work in Singapore, Shanghai, Tokyo, Malaysia, Osaka, and Dubai, and are currently working on projects in Dubai, Japan and the US. A third office was opened in Tokyo, Japan in 2003 to support our expanding list of Asian projects. Kornberg Associates is recognized internationally for our humanistic treatment of technical environments. We are the oldest independent architecture firm which specializes in research facility design.
