This is the spirit of Knutson Farms. Its an ideology rooted in the Depression-era work ethic of founders Harold and Marion Knutson. They came to the Sumner a... rea with $5 to their name and a desire to work. By the late1930s, their efforts afforded them the opportunity to start Knutson Farms, where they raised their two sons, Tom and Roger. Roger was fascinated with the farm at a very young age. To this day, he farms with a profound appreciation of his parents efforts, and of the customers he serves. Roger values a look in the eye and a hand shake. His secret to being a great grower lies in cultivating relationships with both his land and his customers. Today, most people will tell you nothing has changed. Roger still works hard and takes pride in the quality of his product. The spirit and ideology he learned from his father has carried through and is being shared with the next generation at Knutson Farms. Today, Rogers son-in-law, Brian Anderson, is assuming the helm, along with the support of the extended family. Now, the spirit, quality, and history of Knutson Farms is assured to continue long into the future. We are about hard work, integrity, honesty, and wisdom, developed from nearly a century of farming. We focus on quality and understand that, above all, our customers care about reliable products and strong relationship. Its a point-of-view that comes from our long history. We grow with gratitude for our customers, our employees, and our land. We farm and run our business from the strength of our past.
