KnowDis Data Science has been founded by Saurabh Singal who holds a B.Tech. degree in Computer Science & Engineering from IIT Delhi and an M.S. in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University. Saurabh worked as a derivatives trader and hedge fund manager in global financial markets and has rich experience in applying statistical algorithms and machine learning to investment management. He is a mathematician by heart and has taught Machine Learning for Finance to Masters students at the Singapore Management University as an adjunct professor. He also founded Ankam, a Singapore based AI company which specialized in providing machine learning solutions to clients in finance and pharma. Our company's name, KnowDis, is a portmanteau word composed from Knowledge, and Discovery aptly summarising the spirit of curiosity that guides all of us.
