Knit for All

My name is Sarah, I live in lovely Cornwall, and I have been hand knitting, seriously, since 1990. I was taught to knit when I was a child by my Step-Nan and Gran, but at that time could only knit stitches, so ended up doing lots of garter stitch scarves! I met my husband in March 1990 and kept pestering his Nan and Mum, both of which are excellent... knitters, to teach me to knit properly. On the 24th December, 1990, I was sat down with a pair of needles and some wool and the teaching started. By the afternoon I was knitting my first top with a little leaf pattern. Since then, things have been going from strength to strength and I have knitted everything from basic baby garments to complicated Pink Panther Jackets with six different colours on the go at once. I also hand knit for Sirdar the Yarn Company and up until this year I knitted for a small seasonal boutique in Devon where my mum worked. Is anyone you know having a baby?
