Knighture Foundation

The Knighture Foundation focuses on coaching and mentoring individuals who may desire to get into Information Technology and Services (ITS) industries or may be looking to advance their skill set into a more in-demand role, but find it a challenge due to overwhelming options in training and confusing entry points into will ultimately lead to a succ... essful career path. Knighture's approach is to guide an individual through a number of initial activities to identify their unique capabilities and strengths as an individual and then align them with a training path all their own. The end goal is to help them create a portfolio of demonstrable skills which will match them up with job opportunities with employers and/our partners that will either take them on as an apprentice or give them to tools they need to advance their career. Established as a 501c3 in 2018, Knighture is coaching over 40 individuals, of which over a third are women, and 90% are minorities. While this was not the original target per-se, we endeavor to enable people and their capabilities to show them the right path to reach their goals. Six people have already found full-time work in the various IT and Programming roles, and we are working with organizations like Signature Consultants, Duke Energy, and Pivotal Software.Read More
