KMW is a small specialty shop serving a specific niche of the shooting community. With the exception of some test fire checks, teardowns and metal surface prep, I personally do all machining, bedding, coating and assembly on each rifle. I approach each day with the intent to earn a good reputation in this community rather than coast along on any pa... st accomplishments. I am very fortunate to work in this field and appreciate the opportunity to evolve this art with some of the best people in the business. Each rifle is built to meet the mission specific needs of Law Enforcement or the serious competition shooter. I feel that the best way to insure a busy workload 5 years from now is to make sure everything going out the door today is correct. I have been participating in regional, national and international competitions since 1978. I still shoot competitively with the thought that getting on the line against the top shooters and teams from other parts of the country will help me continue to refine what does and does not work in the real world. We win some and we lose some, but we always learn something new. I am a Reserve Deputy for the 490 man Rapides Sheriff's Office and represent them at some of the Tactical rifle shoots around the country.
