KMG Publications

I, like most of you, started out as a self publishing author. The company was originally only registered in order to obtain an ISBN and later US copyright for a book I had just written, and which I intended to self publish. I really knew little at the time about marketing and after I put the ebook on Amazon.com became disappointed very quickly when... sales did not suddenly take off on their own. (Go figure!) However, as time progressed, I decided against my better judgement to sign on with a self publishing company, reasoning that at least the company could market my book where I could not! That's when the frustration began. Not only was there great frustration during the type setting phase but even after sending the company a cover I had professionally made, they somehow managed to change it and make a mess of that too. Then the ebook was released and it was a formatting nightmare! Thankfully I had only signed a non-exclusive contract from which I could opt out at anytime. Unfortunately, I had spent a large sum of money on that company's don't care approach! The next logical step was to put my head down and make it happen myself. Also I decided that I would begin to run KMG Publications as a fully working company in order to help others wanting to self publish. I would provide any guidance I could, as well as services that would assist Christian authors to not only publish their book, but to have their books promoted the way they wanted and to the audience they wanted. To this end, KMG Publications truly became the company it is today. Today our aim is help promote Christian books that inspire the readers to not settle for the norm or the way things are. We'd like to encourage books that help readers to live their dreams, discover their potential, and be who we were created to be. These kinds of books shouldn't be ignored, and our goal is to ensure they are not.Read More
