Klopfer Dobos was founded in Melbourne back in 1980 with a commitment to providing highly tuned structural engineering solutions and services to its clients. With a focus on commercial and industrial projects, the company quickly expanded due to its success, delivering multi-million dollar projects around Australia and also overseas in countries in... cluding Thailand, China and Indonesia. Our growth has been driven by the high standard of our work combined with our meticulous attention to detail which results in economic design and cost savings, not to mention fewer delays and headaches when it comes to construction. It is also evidenced by the large number of projects we've been asked to undertake, now in excess of 15,000. We have won numerous prestigious awards for our work. In 1997, we were awarded the Institute of Engineering Excellence in Engineering Award for our $100 million paper recycling project in Brisbane for Visy Paper. In 2004 the 15000 square metre Bluescope Lysaght building we designed won the Metal Building Design Award. In the last 30 years we've worked with a diverse range of clients of all sizes. Today our regular client base includes well known developers, builders, major national companies, schools and Government bodies, many of whom have been long-standing clients with us from the start.
