Originally, the company was formed to pack tomato sauces and later added canned pasta and soup to its product line. The business consist basic sales areas: Retail Private Label, Food Service, and Contract Packing. The Retail Private Label sells products under the brand of major supermarkets in the eastern United States. Food Service sells to companies who distribute to restaurants, schools and government institutions. Contract packing is produced for several well-known national brands. In 2008, Hanover Foods Corporation purchased Castleberry adding additional canned chili, corned beef hash and other products to its growing collection of products. Aunt Kitty's Foods, Inc. employs more than 100 workers at its Vineland site which houses a 260,000-sq. ft. facility on 20 acres of land.
