Where does Kitebridge operate? Kitebridge partners with top-ranking, private high schools. It has one campus in New York and two in the Midwestern state of Missouri. We plan to o... pen a West coast campus in the fall of 2015. What is the relationship between Kitebridge and and its partner high schools? Kitebridge provides dormitories, meals, counseling, evening and weekend programs, and supervision for students. High schools provide formal education and extra-curricular activities during the academic year. Kitebridge also recommends additional vacation and summer programs. How can Kitebridge help my student get in the right college? Kitebridge has advisers who have worked in the admissions offices of top U.S. colleges such as Stanford, Princeton and Cornell. Our staff has firsthand knowledge of requirements for admission to these colleges and how requirements in the U.S. differ from those in other countries. Counselors help students select academic courses, extra-curricular activities and vacation programs that make them attractive candidates for the colleges of their choice. Exactly how do Kitebridge counselors help international students? There are two types of "counselors" at Kitebridge: The first are "resident counselors. These are American adults who have at least a bachelor's degree and training in counseling. They live 24/7 in the dorms with students and are responsible for a maximum of 4 students per counselor. They are like extremely well-trained parents to the students. The second type of "counselors" are the big guys whom we call "advisers.
