Kirkwood Camp and Conference Center was established in 1960 when the Presbytery of Philadelphia purchased a family farm and converted it into a residential youth camp, retreat and conference center. The camp consists of 292 acres with such diversity as large meadows for games, a large pond for boating and swimming, hiking trails winding through lau... rel hammocks, piney forests, and stands of hardwood. The highlights of this site include the suspension bridge which crosses Big Pocono Creek - great for tubing, fly fishing and environmental studies - as well as the "Ridge" which gives a majestic view of the Pocono Mountains and the Delaware Water Gap. Accredited by the American Camp Association, Kirkwood offers a full range of summer camp experiences for all ages, including Traditional Camps, Arts Camps and Adventure Camps. We also offer a variety of Fall, Winter and Spring retreats and events for youth and families. Our Facilities are available for rent to Churches and other Non-Profit groups September through May.
