About Kingfisher Boats

Kingfisher Boats has been established since 1984 and has been building quality GRP vessels ranging from small fishing boats, 20' to passenger vessels 50'. The company was one of the first boat builders in the UK to be approved to the requirements of ISO9002 standards in association with Lloyds Register Quality Assurance certificate number: LRQ 09085776. Ron Coote, (owner of Kingfisher Boats), has been involved with the sport of sliding seat rowing competitively for the last 30 years and recently reached National level status. Along with his wife Mary, (also a rower), the company decided that based on a current demand for a suitable training skiff it was time to diversify and add into their existing range the Kingfisher Flyer. It has been designed by Chris Freer and the result is a superb rowing boat ideal for all ages and standards and is suitable in most water conditions.Explore more
