Kingfisher offers a couple of different scenic flight tours starting from the city of Kodiak. Our Bush Hawk floatplanes have the largest windows of any floatplane on Kodiak - providing you the best unobstructed views. We also offer flight seeing from our classic DeHavilland Beaver. The most popular scenic flight is our 1-hour tour and covers approx... imately 1/3 of Kodiak Island. Our 2 hour-tour covers about 2/3 of the Island and includes a water stop at a remote location. If you are looking for a memorable experience,but do not have enough time to join us on the bear viewing tours, our scenic flights are the way to go. Cruise ship passengers often find themselves in port with a limited about of time - this trip is for you. Most often, we are able to find whales, brown bears and mountain goats from the air during the scenic tours. We also can customize our tours depending upon you interests and special needs.
