About Kindred Spirits
Kindred Spirits has been serving the Piedmont since 1996 when Howard and Linda "Arci" Fawley first started in Cook's Flea Market. In 2001 Kindred Spirits moved to the downtown arts district of Winston-Salem and as been serving the community here ever since. Arci breathed love and kindness into our community and shared her love through annual Love Feasts of delightful Indian food at her home, Kindred House. In 2012 Arci and Howard followed their dream to open an Ashram in the Lake Lure area of North Carolina. Realizing that she could not serve both communities to her fullest, Kindred Spirits was put up for sale. In 2013 Antonina and James Thomaston became owners of Kindred Spirits and have been stewarding the store ever since. With a background in herbalism, farming, permaculture, beekeeping, and sustainability, Antonina is pleased to move the store in a direction that continues to support the varied paths of Kindred Spirit's community.Explore more
