We created the Kids of Clay Child Care Center because we did not want the "normal" daycare environment. We made a promise to ourselves that we would open a child care facility that truly had the children and parents in mind. We wanteda "homey" environment where children would love to come and did not want to leave. We wanted to give the children lo... ve like we love our own. So many teachers are in a job and doing work for a paycheck. Only doing enough to get by. We remind my teachers continually why they are here and ensure they operate with the love that only a parent can give. We will not accept anything less than that. Now we can promise you, the teachers have never been held to this type of standard, but they are learning everyday how to improve the way they care for our children. We are a Christian Child Care Center who strives to teach the foundational principles of the Word of God through Christian Cartoons, curriculum and social redirecting. It's so important for our children to learn these principles early, before they reach our school systems. Many traits and behaviors are developed at an early age and if not shown the correct direction, difficult habits could easily form.
