We believe that ALL kids should have access to experiences like concerts, shows, sporting events, camps and more! Experiences like these they allow kids to just be kids. With the support of our youth-serving agency partners and the generousity of our sponsors and donors, we can do our part to make sure this becomes a reality. A world in which all kids have access to enriching experiences. Kids Up Front distributes tickets to arts, culture and sporting events to deserving kids and their families. I looked around and saw so many empty seats and I knew that those seats had been paid for and that those tickets were probably in somebodys desk. I was determined to fill those seats with kids and their families that wouldnt normally have a chance to go. One evening in 1999, John Dalziel looked around Calgarys Saddledome. He didnt just see a sea of empty seats. He saw possibility. He thought why not put unused tickets into the hands of kids who may never have the chance to be at a live event, where the home-town sports team wins a big game or their favourite band plays their favourite song? Kids Up Front Edmonton was created in 2003. To date, we have provided Edmonton kids and families with experiences worth more than $16M.
