Khulna Shipyard Ltd (KSY) is a government commercial enterprise operating under the Ministry of Defence and managed by the Bangladesh Navy. Situated on the western bank of the Rupsha River in Khulna, Bangladesh, KSY is an ISO 9001:2015 certified shipbuilding industry with extensive expertise. The company specializes in building ships under various classification societies, including BV, LR, NKK, CCS, GL, and RINA, and provides comprehensive ship repair and marine solutions. KSY's operational capabilities extend to constructing steel and aluminum ships up to 90 meters in length and 700 tons lightweight. Its diverse portfolio includes naval Large Patrol Craft (LPC), Inshore Patrol Vessels (IPV), Hydrographic Survey Vessels, Landing Craft Utility (LCU), oil tankers, cargo and container vessels, tugs, workboats, pilot boats, speed boats, search and rescue boats, barges, ferries, floating cranes, and pontoons.
