KH Chemicals was founded in 1994 by Hans Ketting and Rick de Haan, who combined knowledge and experience in a variety of world markets. The rise of new producer markets in Eastern Europe and the Far East at that time, combined with the company's extensive knowledge of the global market, provided a firm foundation for a solid organization. Over the years the nature of the company's business has changed considerably. New means of communication made the industry very transparent and diminished the company's role as a trader.
