KeyWay Corp. is a third generation "offspring" company maintaining a well earned reputation in general contracting, construction management and project development excellence. The legacy began when Paul Ables started his construction employment in 1971 as an Assistant Construction Superintendent on a multifamily housing project for the Robert Randa... ll Company, the largest private homebuilder in the Pacific Northwest. Shortly thereafter, he was named as Randall's Project Superintendent for the Rothe Road Apartments (112 units). For the next 11 years he supervised the construction of over 6,000 multifamily residential units, first as a Project Superintendent, and later for four years as General Manager / V.P. of Construction. During Paul's tenure, Brian Frank started his construction employment with Randall as a Superintendent, managing large scale multifamily projects in Oregon, Washington and California. The early 1980's brought a significant slowdown in the development and building industry and the Randall Company cut back on construction drastically. In 1982, Paul Ables founded Keyway National Corporation and Brian Frank re-joined Paul as Vice President. The Portland, Oregon based company quickly established a reputation for quality performance as a general contractor and for the next 15 years performed project development, project management, general contracting and construction management functions for over 2,700 multifamily apartment units, motels and single family residences in four western states. With the retirement of Paul Ables and Keyway National in 1997, Brian Frank continued the tradition of experience, integrity and excellence by founding KeyWay Corp. in 1998 and remains Owner and President to this day.
