When Keystone Steam Supplies started in 1988 by Ron Holowka, it was his sole desire to work for himself and provide a better life for his family. The company had humble beginnings because back then the business was run out of Ron's home basement. Money was tight, the learning curve was steep, but the dedication to providing the best service for his... customer's was real. The company started to grow. Keystone soon became the primary importer and distributor of Barnes & Jones steam traps and steam trap repair parts. This was an opportunity for Ron to learn about the unique concept of the 'cage unit,' which Barnes & Jones manufactures not only for their products but for all other manufacturer's thermostatic steam traps.
