Kevin Blackston

It strikes me that there are a lot of ways I could introduce myself. For example, I could go all with something like, Call me Kevin, or break it down with Eminem: My name is (what?), my name is (who?), my name isKevin. Or I could be all secretive, refusing to identify myself and responding to inquiries about my identity by saying, Wouldnt you like... to know? Those might not be the most appropriate introductions, however, so Ill keep it simple. My name is Kevin Blackston. Ive been tinkering with computers and websites since the 1990s, and working with them full-time since I made the jump from radio news in late 2007. I earned my CompTIA A+ certification in 2015, and Im currently Senior Web Administrator at the American Culinary Federation . (The postings on this site are my own and do not necessarily reflect the views of ACF.) In my free time, I collect stamps and operate a philately-focused website, Philosateleia . My reasons for starting this blog are threefold: I want to build a personal knowledge base for recording problems and solutions I run across, both for my own use and hopefully to help others.
